Dessers, Odey on target for Genk in pre-season friendly games against Lens

Cyriel Dessers and Stephen Odey were on target for KRC Genk as they played a double friendly games against RC Lens on Saturday.

Dessers who led Genk’s attack in the first friendly match against Lens put his side up in the first half from the spot kick to continue his fine preseason friendly form.

It was Dessers who was fouled in the box for the penalty and he stepped up to convert the ball but hi side were pegged back in the second half.

The first friendly ended 1-1.

In the second friendly, Paul Onuachu, Stephen Odey and Shawn Adewoye were all invloved for Genk in the game which ended 3-2 in favour of Lens.

Stephen Odey scored Genk’s second goal in the 82nd minute but it wasn’t enough as they lost 3-2 to Lens. He was subbed off in the 85th minute.

Paul Onuachu fired blank and was subbed off in the 75th minute while Shawn Adewoye was on the pitch the whole time.
