Devin Booker leads Suns comeback over Kings

The Phoenix Suns couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the new season. Down by 17 points on the road, they stormed back behind a performance from Devin Booker, who dropped 31 points to lift the Suns past the Sacramento Kings, 120–116.

Booker looked in midseason form, attacking the rim, drilling step-backs, and taking over late when Phoenix needed him most. He finished with 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists, setting the tone for what could be another big year in the desert.

Grayson Allen caught fire after halftime, scoring 18 points all in the second half and adding 5 rebounds and 7 assists to fuel the comeback.

For Sacramento, Zach LaVine led the way with 30 points, while DeMar DeRozan added 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists in a strong debut. Dillon Brooks chipped in 22 points and 2 steals, but the Kings couldn’t hang on once Phoenix’s defense tightened in the fourth quarter.

It’s just one game but it already feels like a statement.

Final Score: Kings 116 – Suns 120
Records: Kings (0-1) | Suns (1-0)
