Djokovic and Alcaraz Lead Big Day at the US Open

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will be the main stars playing on Wednesday at the US Open.
Djokovic, who beat Learner Tien on Sunday evening in Arthur Ashe Stadium, will return to the court at 11:30 a.m. He will play against American Zachary Svajda. This will be their first match against each other.
Plenty of Action
Carlos Alcaraz will play in the evening session, starting at 7 p.m. He will face Italian Mattia Bellucci. The Spanish player, who now has a new short haircut, will try to keep up the strong form he showed in his first match, where he easily beat Reilly Opelka.
The top-ranked American, Taylor Fritz, will play against Lloyd Harris in Louis Armstrong Stadium. Ben Shelton, who is now ranked number 6 in the world — his highest ever — will face Pablo Carreño Busta, a former US Open semi-finalist.
