Novak Djokovic mocks Stefanos Tsitsipas with cheeky message after Dubai Championships win. Stefanos Tsitsipas won the Dubai Championships title by beating Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-3 in the final.
This was Tsitsipas’ first ATP 500 title, as he had lost in all 11 of his previous finals, including the Dubai tournament in 2019 and 2020.
Tsitsipas won the last four games of the first set and took his first match point confidently with an ace. He then saved all seven break points in the second set to finish off the match. His victory also moved him back into the ATP top 10 for the first time since May.
However, Novak Djokovic quickly poked fun at Tsitsipas on Instagram. He posted a picture of Tsitsipas holding the trophy with the caption: “No one beats @stefanostsitsipas98 12x in a row on 500 Tour level. Well done!” The post included a laughing emoji.
