Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to sign for Manchester City before the transfer window closes at 7pm this evening in the UK.
PSG manager Luis Enrique has decided to change his goalkeeping options after signing Lucas Chevalier, making the former AC Milan star available for transfer.
The Italian international’s move to the Etihad depends on the departure of Ederson, who is close to joining Turkish club Fenerbahçe. The 32-year-old Brazilian has not played for City this season, and Fabrizio Romano reports that both clubs have reached an agreement for his transfer.
Donnarumma has already agreed personal terms with Manchester City, but PSG and City are still negotiating the fee. RMC Sport claim that the French club are asking for €30 million.
If completed, the move will bring an end to Donnarumma’s four-year stay in Paris and give City a new first-choice goalkeeper.
