Dosunmu impresses as Chicago Bulls extend impressive start to the season

Grizzlies, Hawks, 76ers, Cavaliers all pick up wins

Chicago Bulls rookie Ayo Dosunmu reached double figures in points for the first time in his career as he helped the Chicago Bulls to a hard-fought 128-114 win over the Boston Celtics to improve their record for the season to 6-1.

Dosunmu scored 14 points with four rebounds and two assists for the Bulls as they secured a 39-11 fourth quarter to come back from the brink of defeat against the Boston Celtics.

DeMar DeRozan led the scoring for the Chicago Bulls with 37 points in the match. Zach LaVine also contributed 26 points for the Bulls as they ran out winners at the end of the match.

Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 113-103 in their meeting on Monday. Seth Curry led the scoring for the Sixers with 23 points, six rebounds and five assists in the match.

Jarrett Allen and Lauri Markkanen contributed 45 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Charlotte Hornets 113-110 to improve their record for the season to 4-4. Allen added 16 rebounds to go with his points.

Domantas Sabonis finished with a double-double as the Indiana Pacers claimed a 131-118 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Monday in the NBA. Sabonis finished the game with 24 points and 13 rebounds.

Atlanta Hawks defeated the Washington Wizards 118-111 to pick up their fourth win of the season in the NBA. Trae Young led the scoring with 26 points, four rebounds and six assists for the Hawks.

Toronto Raptors claimed their fifth win of the season when they defeated the New York Knicks 113-104. OG Anunoby led the scoring for the Raptors with 36 points.

Ja Morant continued with his impressive start to the NBA season as he led the scoring with 26 points, seven rebounds and eight assists for the Memphis Grizzlies in their 106-97 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Orlando Magic picked up a 115-97 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves after impressive displays by their youngsters on the night. 21-year-old Cole Anthony led the scoring with 31 points, and 20-year-old rookie Franz Wagner scored 28 points. Wagner’s fellow class of 2021 member Jalen Suggs chipped in with 15 points for the Magic.

Paul George inspired the Los Angeles Clippers to a 99-94 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. George contributed 32 points with nine rebounds and seven assists in the win for the Clippers.
