Drake to host first-ever NBA Awards show
There will be some extra stardust when the inaugural NBA Awards take place this year.
An ambassador and fan of the Toronto Raptors, Drake will headline the show at Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City.
The show will headline the league’s top performers, including the Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man Award, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player and Coach of the Year.

Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook and Houston Rockets’ James Harden are among the contenders for the MVP award.
