Super Eagles of Nigerian vice-captain William Troost-Ekong has arrived in Nigeria ahead of his Foundation launch engagements this weekend.
The PAOK FC player has regained fitness and returned to training, after being sidelined due to an injury sustained at the 2023 AFCON tournament.
Troost-Ekong recently arrived in Lagos, Nigeria ahead of the official launch of the Troost Ekong Foundation. He shared the exciting update on his Instagram stories.
To mark the foundation’s official launch, Troost-Ekong will host a charity match at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in his home state, Akwa Ibom, on June 2. Several football legends and players, including Daniel Amokachi, Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa will be participating in the event.
