Ekong Confirms Osimhen’s Favourite Club Amid Transfer Rumours

Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has revealed that Victor Osimhen is a long-time Chelsea fan.

During the summer transfer window, Chelsea tried to sign Osimhen but could not reach an agreement with him, ending their talks.

Ekong’s statement has sparked new transfer rumours, especially linking Osimhen with a move to the Premier League.

Troost-Ekong confirmed on Facebook, through Fabrizio Romano, that Osimhen is a Chelsea supporter. He also praised Osimhen’s leadership, calling him a “great teammate” and saying he is very determined in front of goal.

Since joining Napoli, Osimhen has been in amazing form, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in just 13 appearances.

Chelsea is reportedly interested in signing him during the winter transfer window, and with his love for the club confirmed, this could make a move more likely in the future.
