Ekong returns to Instagram after deactivating account

Super Eagles defender and vice-captain Willam Troost-Ekong has returned to Instagram after few months of deactivating.

Late last year, Ekong removed his major social media accounts with rumours speculating it was due to criticism and abuses he received from fans.

The Watford center-backE truly dip in form prior to AFCON 2021, he made few mistakes that cost his club in the Premier League.

When asked about why he removed his accounts, he said:

“I’m not thinking about uploading pictures…My fans can see me on the pitch.”

However, the 28-year-old rose from the disappointments at his club and put on decent performance for the Super Eagles at the continental tournament.
