El-Kanemi Warriors head coach, Aliyu Zubairu, has unveiled the secret behind his team’s triumphant victory in the President Federation Cup final against Abia Warriors.
The Borno Army emerged victorious with a 2-0 win at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, clinching their first title in 32 years and their third overall in Nigeria’s oldest football competition.
Nasiru Salihu was the standout player, scoring both goals and ensuring El-Kanemi Warriors’ dominance throughout the match. Reflecting on the victory, Zubairu attributed their success to the youthful vigor and resilience of his squad.
