El Kanemi targetting top positions next season – Imama

El-kanemi coach Imama Amapakabo says his target for the forth coming season in the NPFL is top finishing position.

Speaking after his team were held to a 1-1 draw by a youth club Iwere United at a preseason friendly played yesterday at the Warri city state, Imama said that having alot of non Nigerian players presently  in his team is an added advantage which he hopes will be of great values to the club.

The former Rangers gaffer noted that the game against Iwere united was the second official preseason game El Kanemi is playing and that preparations for the next season is going on well as planned by the technical crew of the club. 

He further stated that the target for the Maiduguri based club is to win the Nigerian top flight league at the end of the 2017/18 season.
