Emmanuel Ayaosi’s Late Assist Rescues Slavia Prague in Czech League

Nigerian forward Emmanuel Ayaosi continued his impressive form in the Czech First League after providing a late assist to help Slavia Prague secure a 1-1 draw against Mladá Boleslav on Saturday evening.
The 21-year-old played a key role in the defending champions’ fightback, delivering a decisive cross in the closing minutes to rescue a point in their Round 12 clash at the Fortuna Arena.
Slavia Prague fell behind in the 15th minute when Martin Šubert scored for Mladá Boleslav.
The visitors held on to their lead for most of the match, leaving the home side under pressure as they searched for an equaliser.
However, with just four minutes of normal time remaining, Ayaosi delivered a well-timed cross into the penalty area, which Mojmír Chytil converted to make it 1-1.
The move began in midfield when David Moses started the attack before finding Ayaosi on the right flank. The Nigerian forward then picked out Chytil with a precise delivery to deny the visitors all three points.
The assist was Ayaosi’s second in consecutive matches, following his contribution to Slavia Prague’s 2-2 draw against Fenerbahçe in the UEFA Champions League.
He has now recorded seven goal contributions in 14 appearances across all competitions, with four goals and three assists.
Ayaosi also earned an impressive match rating of 8.8 for his performance.
Meanwhile, fellow Nigerian Samuel Isife started the match but was replaced by Mubarak Suleiman at half-time. David Moses also came on at the start of the second half as Slavia Prague pushed for a response.
Despite dropping two points at home, Slavia Prague remain seven points ahead of second-placed Mladá Boleslav in the league standings.
The Czech champions will now turn their attention to Tuesday’s Czech Cup fixture against FC Zbrojovka Brno as they look to maintain their strong run.
