The Nigerian forward played the entire duration of the game. Joao Pedro scored the winning goal for Watford on Monday night.
Dennis is eyeing a move away from Watford with links to Newcastle, West Ham and most recently EPL new boys Nottingham Forest has told Skysports.com he will continue to do his job and ” see what will happen ” as per transfer .
Dennis said ” I enjoyed the game (against Sheffield United), we won the game, so I’m happy,”
“I’m still a player of the team so I just do my job and we’ll see what happens .”
Dennis scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists for Watford in the Premier League last season following his transfer from Club Brugge .
Watford’s £20m valuation of the forward they signed for £3.5m last summer is the major obstacle for interested buyers but the Super Eagles striker is not looking to force a move yet.
The transfer window closes at the end of August and Dennis is calm and focused on helping the Hornets with whom he penned a 5 year contract in July 2021.
Watford manager Rob Edwards SportsRation gathered is a huge fan of the Nigerian forward and will be very happy to keep him at the club as they push for promotion to the English Premier League .
