England, Germany ahead of Nigeria in chase for Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala
Chelsea academy graduate Jamal Musiala now Bayern Munich star is set to be a subject of battle between the English FA and Germany Football Federation.
The two European giants are reportedly ahead of the Nigeria Football Federation who could also lay claim to the youngster born in Germany to a Nigerian father.
Jamal Musiala broke into the first-team squad at the Allianz Arena, being provided with one start and six substitute outings in all competitions this season.
The progression of the 17-year-old has led to a call-up to the England Under-21s squad, a sign that Three Lions officials have plans to promote the prospect to the senior ranks in the future.
However, the Daily Mail claims that the midfielder is also wanted by Germany, the country of his birth.
The report suggests that Musiala will be assured of a place in their Under-21s squad in March if he is prepared to shun England over the coming days.
