Enzo Maresca wins Premier League manager of the month
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for November 2025. The recognition shows the measurable progress Chelsea have made under his leadership after an inconsistent opening to the season. Maresca introduced a structured system, strengthened defensive organisation, and created a more efficient and predictable attacking network for the team.
Maresca earned the award after a good run in November that included a 2–0 win against Burnley and a 1–1 draw with Arsenal. Chelsea played with ten men for more than half the game, yet still controlled key phases of the match. Across the month, Chelsea recorded an increase in expected goals and a reduction in shots allowed per match. They also achieved the highest pass completion rate in the league for the period.
A panel of football experts and a public vote on the Premier League website decides the Manager of the Month. The decision is based on clear performance metrics like points gained, goal difference, defensive stability, attacking effectiveness, and the influence of the manager on team performance. Maresca’s results placed him at the top of the table for points per match in November and among the best for defensive metrics.
The official Chelsea platform on X posted a public message congratulating Maresca congratulating Maresca noting his contribution to the team’s steady rise in the league and highlighting the consistency Chelsea displayed throughout November.
