Eric Chelle to Visit Super Eagles Stars in Europe
Eric Chelle, the new Super Eagles coach, will travel to Europe next week to meet with some of the team’s senior players.
Chelle, who was officially unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday in Abuja, is currently spending time with the home-based Super Eagles as they prepare for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN). He is set to leave for Europe this weekend.
The 47-year-old will start his tour in France, where he will visit Nantes winger Moses Simon. He will then meet Victor Osimhen in Turkey and other top Super Eagles players in England and Germany.
Chelle is expected to return to Nigeria before the end of the month, after completing his European tour.
The former Mali defender will accompany the home-based Super Eagles to CHAN 2024, where he will take on a supervisory role.
