Erling Haaland Scores 25th Hat-Trick as Norway Thrash Kazakhstan 5-0
Erling Haaland shone brightly on Sunday, November 17, 2025, scoring his 25th career hat-trick as Norway crushed Kazakhstan 5-0 in a Nations League match.
The Manchester City striker, who has already netted hat-tricks against Ipswich and West Ham this season, brought his total goals to 22 for club and country this season.
Haaland, also Norway’s captain, opened the scoring in the 24th minute by reacting quickly to a rebound after Kazakhstani goalkeeper Stas Pokalitov made an initial save.
Thirteen minutes later, Haaland doubled Norway’s lead with a precise header into the top corner. Antonio Nusa added a third goal just before halftime, putting Norway in full control.
In the second half, Haaland completed his hat-trick with a low, right-footed shot from the edge of the box, extending his record as Norway’s all-time top scorer with 38 goals.
Nusa struck again to make it five for Norway, securing their place at the top of the group following Austria’s draw with Slovenia.
Haaland’s stunning performance comes just days before Manchester City face Tottenham in the Premier League, promising more excitement as domestic football resumes after the international break.
