Ese Brume finishes 2nd in long jump at ISTAF 2022 Berlin

Ese Brume has finished 2nd in women’s long jump event at the Internationales Stadionfest at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany.

The 26-year-old jumper who claimed her first Diamond League win a few days back with win Brussel finished 2nd in Berlin on Sunday.

Brume finished second after leaping to a 6.78m to finish behind Malaika Mihambo.

Malaika Mihambo finished first with a leap of  6.92m – the German only had one legal jump in six attempts, and it was her first jump.

Women’s Long Jump:
Mihambo Malaika- 6.92m
Ese Brume- 6.78m
Sawyer Jasmin- 6.69m

Ese Brume will participate in the Diamond League final in Zurich for the first time in her career.

She will compete in the Women’s Long Jump final on Thursday, 8th of September, 2022 at 8 pm Nigerian time.
