Etor Daniel assists as Al Nasr come from behind to beat Al Nahda

Former Nigerian Professional Football League champion with Enyimba, Daniel Etor put in a great shift to help Al Nasr secure a 2-1 home win against Al-Nahda in a Omani Professional Football League game played on Thursday.

The former CHAN Eagles attacker was instrumental as Al Nasr came from a goal down to beat Al Nahda at the Al-Saada Stadium in the battle for the second spot and a continental place.

Al Nahda broke the deadlock in the the 20th minute when Rok put the ball in his own net.

Etor Daniel provided a good ball that Omer Malki powered him for his 7th goal of the season to draw Al Nasr level in the 59th minute.

There was still plenty of time for Al Nasr to score one more goal as Hamad Al Habsi scored what became the winning goal in the 80th minute.

The win helped Al Nasr move to the second spot and knocked Al Nahda to the third position.

Of the 28 goals scored by Al Nasr, Etor Daniel has contributed 12 assists and 4 goals (16) more than any other player in the team.
