‘ Even a blind man can see ‘ – Xavi accuses Real Mdrid of Referees conditioning
Barcelona’s manager, Xavi, has accused Real Madrid of “conditioning” referees in Spain through their TV channel, saying ‘ Even a blind man can see. ‘
Xavi previously claimed that La Liga referees are favoring Real Madrid, making it challenging for Barcelona to compete for the title.
Despite Barcelona’s Caso Negreira scandal complicating matters, Xavi alleged that Real Madrid exerts pressure on match officials through its TV channel.
Xavi expressed his concerns at a press conference, stating, “I already said that I don’t like that they [Madrid] condition the referees, but they continue to do it every week. The referees are going to whistle conditioned.”
“Even a blind man can see what is happening. [Atletico Madrid boss Diego) Simeone said it the other day, that we are not stupid. Everyone is seeing it, but it is the media that has to say it.”
He acknowledged that the Negreira case has not helped Barcelona’s cause but emphasized the need to compete with the reality they face. Xavi agreed with the president’s remarks and urged the media to address the situation.
Barcelona, currently 10 points behind league leaders Real Madrid, faces pressure to salvage the season.
Xavi is determined to make a positive impact in his final season as manager before leaving in the summer.
Barcelona’s upcoming fixtures include matches against Alaves and Granada in La Liga, followed by a Champions League clash against Napoli.
