He acknowledged that the Negreira case has not helped Barcelona’s cause but emphasized the need to compete with the reality they face. Xavi agreed with the president’s remarks and urged the media to address the situation.
Barcelona, currently 10 points behind league leaders Real Madrid, faces pressure to salvage the season.
