Everton lauds Iwobi’s MOTM performance in 1-1 draw against Tottenham
Everton have acknowledged the effort put in by Alex Iwobi during their 1-1 draw against Tottenham in a Premier League game on Monday.
After a goalless first half, Abdoulaye Doucoure was given his marching orders in the 58th minute reducing Everton to 10-man.
10 minutes later, Tottenham took the lead through Harry Kane. Kane scored the goal via a penalty.
With two minutes left on the clock, Tottenham were also reduced to 10-man when Lucas Moura was sent off.
Two minutes after the red card, Michael Keane scored a powerful shot to send the Goodison Park crowd into pandemonium.
Everton fought and got a worthy point useful for their fight against relegation.
Again, Alex Iwobi played a huge role in the outcome, and he was duly recognized by Everton for his contribution.
