Expensive Declan Rice is heading to Arsenal once the mode of payment of his transfer fee is agreed upon by West Ham United FC and the London Club.
This is according to latest updates on the trending transfer by Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is “very close” to completion.
There is just one condition which Arsenal must meet before West Ham agree to the deal. Apparently The Hammers want the guaranteed £100m fee to be paid within 18 months, different to the financial package from Arsenal which stated it will be completed in four years.
This remains the only obstacle before Arsenal who previously had treble-winners Manchester City in a two-horse bidding war for Declan Rice.
Manchester City ended their chase after deciding Rice was too expensive and so will instead pursue other targets.
That decision has left Arsenal with an easier path towards getting one of their key targets this summer.
As it stands, Rice is heading to the Emirates for 100 million pounds, a significant investment by Arsenal ahead of their return to UEFA Champions League Football.
Mikel Arteta has already spent big with the sixty-five million pounds signing of Chelsea forward Kai Havertz ,Rice will represent a massive capture for the Gunners.
It is very close.
