Fabrizio Romano confirms Nigerian wonderkid will join Victor Osimhen’s old club

Renowned Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Nigeria Adeshina Ibrahim Ayodele wonderkid will join Victor Osimhen’s old club, Lille OSC this summer.

French side LOSC Lille have reached an agreement to sign Nigerian rising star Adeshina Ibrahim Ayodele from Beyond Limits Football Academy. The deal was announced by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

While the specifics of the deal remain undisclosed, it is understood to be a permanent transfer for the young talent. Ayodele was a key player for Beyond Limits, the champions of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Nationwide League (NNL).

Beyond Limits earned their title by defeating Nassarawa United 5-2 on penalties, securing a spot in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Ayodele, 18, attracted interest from several clubs, including Belgian side Anderlecht, but ultimately chose to join Lille, who finished fourth in the French top-flight league last season.

He will be joining a club that previously raised to stardom the likes of Vincent Enyeama and Victor Osimhen.
