Falconets Invite 35 Players to Camp Ahead of Rwanda Clash

Nigeria’s U20 women’s national team, the Falconets, have called up 35 players to camp in Abuja as they begin preparations for next month’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.
Newly appointed head coach Moses Aduku has included several familiar faces, especially from the team that reached the Round of 16 at the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia. Among the returning players are team captain and defender Oluchi Ohaegbulem, talented midfielder Joy Igbokwe, and sharp forwards Mary Lucky Mkpa and Goodness Osigwe.
The Falconets will begin training on Monday, 11th August. The first leg of their second-round qualifying match will be played in Kigali on 21st September, with the second leg scheduled for 27th September at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
