Fans tell Lampard to continue to play Mount in the midfield after a flawless display in Chelsea 3-0 win at Burnley

Chelsea fans have asked their manager Frank Lampard not to play Mason Mount on the wings again after his great display in Chelsea 3-0 win at Burnley.

The Chelsea academy graduate put up a massive display as he was deployed as one of the attacking 8s in Lampard’s 4-3-3 formation.

With Ngolo Kante as the defensive midfielder, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount were deployed just ahead of the French man in the midfield.

Mount who sometimes have played on the wing and has had some good and bad games played almost a flawless game on Saturday at Turf Moor.

He was practically involved in everything Chelsea did defensively and in the attack.

Mason Mount assisted Kurt Zouma goal which was Chelsea second of the day.

He created the most chances (3), won the most tackles (3), made the most accurate crosses (2) and made the most final third passes (30).

The most passes completed in opposition half (47), the most shots on target (2), most take-ons completed.

It was such a beautiful display from the 21-year-old that the fans asked Lampard never to drop him for anyone again.
