FC ONE Rocket announce Ugochukwu Obiri transfer to Enugu Rangers
Nigeria National League club FC ONE Rocket have announced the transfer of its Captain, Ugochukwu Obiri to Enugu Rangers FC.
FC ONE Rocket made this announcement via a statement on the clubs Social media handles on Friday September 29, 2023.
The Indomitables, eulogized Obiri’s outstanding leadership quality and wished him well at Nigeria Premier Football League side Enugu Rangers International FC.
FC ONE Rocket wrote, ” We are delighted to announce that agreement has been reached with Rangers International FC of Enugu for the transfer of our captain, Ugochukwu Obiri.
Obiri joins Rangers on a three-year deal until the end of the 2025/2026 season.
The defensive midfielder, who joined us from FC Bethel of Lagos, spent three seasons with the Indomitables, captaining the team in the last two seasons, and was instrumental in our run to the Nigeria National League Super 8 playoff last season.
Obiri has been a leader on and off the pitch during his time with us, represented the badge with so much commitment and we wish him the best at his new club.
He has since linked up with his new teammates at Rangers. He is expected to make his competitive debut soon.
