Eredivisie side FC Utrecht will take Swansea City to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over the sale of goalkeeper Michel Vorm from the Welsh club to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Dutch club say that they are still owed money by Swansea for a sell-on fee clause that was agreed when they sold Vorm to the Premier League club for £1.5m in 2011.
Utrecht have already had their case dismissed by Fifa, but a further hearing has now been scheduled for January 29, 2016.
Vorm’s free transfer to Spurs happened on the same day that Ben Davies moved from the Welsh side to Spurs in a £10m deal that also included the transfer of Gylfi Sigurdsson in the opposite direction.
Spurs insist these deals were separate to the transfer of Vorm, but Utrecht disagree and insist they are owed a percentage of the fee involved.
