Fee agreed as Emmanuel Dennis nears Premier League return

Super Eagles star Emmanuel Dennis has agreed to join Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest from Watford after his £20 million valuation was met. The forward will complete his move to the 2022 Playoff winners in the coming days.

Dennis joined Watford from Club Brugge ahead of the 2021-22 season and made a great impression in his debut season in the Premier League with 10 goals and six assists in 33 appearances for the Hornets. Despite his contribution, he could not save his club from getting relegated to the Championship.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a stellar campaign with Watford and started the 2022-23 Championship season with the club, featuring in both of their matches. He will link up with fellow Super Eagle Taiwo Awoniyi at City Ground, with the striker also having moved to the club this summer.

Emmanuel Dennis was coveted by a number of Premier League sides, including Everton and Newcastle United, before ultimately securing a move to Nottingham Forest. The Super Eagles star joins Steve Cooper’s revolution at City Ground as the Reds look to remain in the Premier League.
