Ferdinand Reveals Who Should Leave Man United for Osimhen to Join

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has said that Alejandro Garnacho should consider leaving the club if it helps bring Victor Osimhen to Old Trafford.

United are looking for a top-quality striker this summer, and Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is one of their main targets.

Napoli had shown interest in Garnacho during the January transfer window, but Manchester United rejected their approach. Now, Ferdinand believes a player swap could be the right move for both clubs.

Speaking on his podcast, Ferdinand said:

“I’d like to see Garnacho play on the left wing at Napoli, with Osimhen moving to United.”

He explained that under a manager like Ruben Amorim, who may not rely heavily on traditional wingers, Garnacho might not get the best out of his talent at United.

“I like Garnacho. I really do. But if Osimhen is available, United must bring him in. I’d make it happen,” Ferdinand added.

“And if I were advising Garnacho, I’d tell him to go to Napoli.”

Ferdinand’s comments show just how highly he rates Osimhen and suggest United should make bold decisions to rebuild their attack next season.
