Angry Nigerian fans stormed the pitch at full time after Nigeria played a 1-1 draw against Ghana and failed to book a spot at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
And FIFA has ruled that the Nigeria vs Sierra Leone AFCON 2023 qualifier be played behind closed doors and also announced a fine of $154,000 on Nigeria for the disturbances after that World Cup qualifier.
Meanwhile, CAF has approved that the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja be used for the 2023 AFCON qualifier between Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
