Flamingos to play USA U-17 in #FIFAU17WWC Quarterfinal

Nigeria U-17, Flamingos will play USA-17 in the quarterfinal of the FIFA U-17 World Cup on Friday.

Flamingos bounced back from their 2-1 defeat in the first game to beat New Zealand 4-0, and Chile 2-1 in their second and third Group B games to book in place in the last eight.

Waiting to face the Nigerian girls in quarters, are the Americans, one of the tournament’s favourites.

USA U-17 booked a place in the last eight, after picking up 7 points in Group A same points as Brazil, but with a superior goal difference.

USA destroyed hosts, India U-17, 8-0 in their first Group A game, played a 1-1 draw against Brazil in their second game, and defeated Morocco 4-0 in the last group game.
