Flying Eagles name City wonder-kid Dele Bashiru; Nnamdi Oforborh, Jerome Akor, and five other foreign pros for U20 World Cup training camp

Manchester City wonder-kid Dele Bashiru sit top of the list of eight invited foreign-based pro players for the U20 World Cup training camp.

Dele Bashiru whose contract with City expires at the end of this season topped the list of the invited foreign-based players which included Bournemouth’s Nnamdi Oforborh.

Other players on the list include; Alhassan Yusuf (IFK Goteborg, Sweden), Jerome Akor (Sogndal, Norway), Hamdi Akujobi (SC Heerenveen, Holland), Igho Ogbu (Rosenborg, Norway), Chinedu Ekene (Hoffenheim, Germany), Jubril Abubakar (FC Midtjylland, Denmark).

The invited foreign pros will by the end of this month join up in Germany with the home-based players, who have been training in Abuja since last month per ScoreNigeria.

Nigeria are drawn against Ukraine, USA and Qatar at the U20 World Cup in Poland, which kicks off on May 23.
