Former Dream team star confident he is the best man for Super Eagles job

Former Dream team star and now US-based coach Michael Nsien says he is the best man to replace Jose Peseiro as Nigeria Super Eagles head coach.

Last week, the Nigeria Football Federation advertised the coaching position of the Super Eagles following the departure of Jose Peseiro.

Nsien who was born in the United States and represented Nigeria at U-23 level as a player said he has the ability and the right training to lead the Super Eagles.

Michael Nsien said: “I am the best of both worlds. As a Nigerian-American, I have a passion for the Super Eagles, I also know the responsibilities that come with that position as head coach.

” I have experience working in an environment that spares no expense in technology, has top scouting infrastructure, and coaching collaboration from top to bottom.

He added “I know where we are at in Nigerian football and I know the gap that exists.  can bridge the gap and help us reach the level that we should be at in world football. It’s time to change course and move forward.

I want to put smiles on the faces of our people”, the US U-19 coach said in an interview with PUNCH.
