Former FC ONE Rockets player Kingsley Kuku off to winning start in Egypt
Former FC ONE Rockets player Kingsley Fidelis Kuku made his Haras El Hodood SC debut in a 2-0 win over Ismaily in the Egyptian Premier League.
The 21-year old joined Haras El Hodood from Nigeria National League side FC ONE Rockets, his last appearance for the Rockets coming in a 2-2 draw vs Apex Krane in the final game of the 2021/2022 NNL season.
Skillful and versatile to operate in Midfield and attack, Kuku was introduced by Haras El Hodood manager Ahmed Ayoub for his debut with 18 minutes to the end of a 2-0 win over Ismaily on Sunday.
The win took the Alexandria based outfit up to 17th on the Egyptian Premier League standings with 10 points after 12 round of matches.
Up next for Kuku and Haras El Hodood is a visit to 9th placed Aswan SC on Friday January 13, at the 20,000 capacity Aswan Stadium.
Meanwhile, Kuku’s Nigerian club FC ONE Rockets on Wednesday via it’s official Facebook handle @FCONEROCKETS celebrated his debut with a parting message wishing the talented youngster well at his new club.
