France 8-0 Nigeria: Gauvin Valerie nets hat-trick as France annihilate Super Falcons in an International friendly

Gauvin Valerie grabbed a hat-trick as France defeated Nigeria 8-0 in an International friendly played at the MmArena in Le Mans, France on Friday night. 

It was the Falcons first game in over a year as the team looked match rusty throughout the encounter and it took just 19mins for France to open the scoring with Eugenie Le Sommer putting the host in front. 

The Super Falcons then went on to concede two more goals in nine minutes to finish the first half with a 3-0 score line. 

The second half saw France score five more goals as Valerie completed her hattrick with Faith Ikidi also scoring an own goal as the match finished 8-in favour of France.
