France name 18 players for D’Tigress Paris Olympic Games challenge
Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, France have revealed its squad for the Women’s Basketball Team. The team, led by coach Jean Aime Toupane, includes 18 players set to compete in the Ancient Games. Among them are established stars and promising young talents, with Marine Johannes standing out as a key player.
France finds itself in the same group as Nigeria’s D’Tigress, Canada, and Australia for the upcoming Olympic tournament. The French team boasts an impressive record, having remained undefeated in previous matches against Puerto Rico, New Zealand, China, and other opponents. As a result, 11 players from those victorious campaigns have earned spots on the Olympic roster.
With a formidable squad assembled, France aims to push for Women’s Basketball glory on home soil with their skill on the court when the Olympic games begins.
