William Troost Ekong , Kenneth Omeruo , Ola Aina , Zaidu Sanusi 

If Coach Austin Eguaveon sticks to his earlier plan of keeping faith with the players who prosecuted the 2021 AFCON then Ekong and Omeruo will get the Nod ahead of In-form Glasgow Rangers man Leon Balogun .

Zaidu Sanusi is a sure bet for the left back Position ahead of Calvin Bassey while Ola Aina is an easy choice for the Right back position ahead of returning Shehu Abdullahi .

Frank Onyeka 

With Wilfred Ndidi out and Oghenekaro Etebo yet to gain Full match fitness following his return from a long spell on the sideline, the Super Eagles handlers may hand Brentford man Frank Onyeka the starting spot.

Samuel Chukwueze , Moses Simon 

Moses Simon will should start on the back of his impressive AFCON performance plus form at Nantes. Samuel Chukwueze should retain is place but may be sacrificed if the coach decides to switch to a 4-4-2 formation.

Kelechi Ihenacho , Victor Osihmen 

Though not a regular at Leicester City , Kelechi Ihenacho has a good goalscoring record with the Super Eagles and could be given a starting spot behind target man Victor Osihmen.

The Napoli forward returns to the Super Eagles after missing the AFCON with Injury. He will get the Nod ahead of veteran Odion Ighalo who may still feature in Coach Austin Eguaveon’s starting XI when it is eventually released few hours to kickoff by 8:30pm .
