Francis Uzoho makes U turn. Reports at Super Eagles Camp.

Francis Uzoho has arrived the Super Eagles camp in Texas. The goalkeeper was a subject of debate last week with multiple reports suggesting he wanted a break from the national team following the criticism that followed his error against the Black Stars of Ghana in the world cup playoffs.
This U turn Sportsration can exclusively confirm is a result of discussions with the new Super Eagles technical crew. The goalkeeper alongside defender Chidozie Awaziem have hit the camp for the international friendly games vs Mexico and Ecuador.
Uzoho was not on the list of invited players released on 10th May 2022 but arrives the Super Eagles Camp as replacement for Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye who asked out as he recovers from Injury.
Francis Uzoho will face competition from NPFL Goalkeepers Adewale Adeyinka and Ojo Olorunleke for the starting berth as the Super Eagles take on Mexico on Saturday 28th May 2022 and Ecuador on 2nd June 2022.
The 19 players now in camp are Adewale Adeyinka (Akwa United); Ojo Olorunleke (Enyimba FC), Ibrahim Buhari (Plateau United), Chiamaka Madu (Rivers United), Ishaq Rafiu (Rivers United), Victor Mbaoma (Enyimba FC), Faisal Sanni(Katsina United).
