Free Agent Kenneth Omeruo Linked To Top Romanian Club

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo does not have a club at the moment, but that could change this summer.
The 31-year-old has been without a team since he and Turkish club Kasimpasa agreed to end his contract.
Since then, Omeruo has only shared photos of himself training on social media.
There have been rumours linking him to other teams in Turkey and the United States (MLS), but nothing has been confirmed.
Now, according to Transfermarkt, top Romanian club CFR Cluj are showing interest in him. The team, which has won the Romanian league eight times, wants to strengthen their squad as they aim to win the title again after three years.
CFR Cluj will also play in European competitions next season, and a player like Omeruo, with his experience, could be very useful for them.
However, they would need to make a good offer. Omeruo is now in his 30s, and if another club offers more money, he may decide not to join Cluj.
Omeruo is one of the most experienced players still in the Nigerian national team. Besides Ahmed Musa, he is the only player from the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations squad still active with the Super Eagles.
