Gabe Vincent career high powers Miami Heat past Philadelphia 76ers
D’Tigers guard Gabe Vincent dropped his season and career high points to help Miami Heat secure a 101-96 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.
Without a number of Heat stars such as Jimmy Butler, Tyler Hero and Bam Adebayo Gabe Vincent stepped up to hand Miami Heat the win against Sixers.
Gabe Vincent hit a key 3-pointer in the fourth quarter and scored 26 points, Duncan Robinson had 21 points, and the short-handed Miami Heat built a 23-point lead and held on to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 101-96 on Wednesday night.
“We had the tip-out, I had a look a the rim for a brief second and I tried not to hesitate,” said Vincent, who shot 7 for 12 from long range.
“I’m just trying to win a game. I knew we needed a bucket,” said Vincent on grabbing a long rebound and draining a 3 to put the Heat ahead 99-96 with 39.4 seconds left.
Gabe Vincent dropped 7-of-12 from trey for his career high trey and 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.
