Gattuso speaks after watching Osimhen scores three goals in Napoli pre-season friendly win

Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso has asked that Victor Osimhen be left alone to focus mainly on his football after gaining the spotlight on Friday.

Victor Osimhen was the focus of attention on Friday after scoring three goals in eight minutes and assisting two more goals in Napoli’s pre-season 11-0 friendly win.

And after watching his new import ticked all boxes in the friendly game, Gattuso was full praise to the Nigerian but wants him to keep working hard so he can fulfil his potentials.

“I’m happy for Victor, but let’s leave him in peace to focus on his football,” said the former AC Milan and Azzurri player turned manager.

“He’s settling in well.

“He’s a quality player with great ability.

“He knows what he can do and if he keeps on working hard he can have a big impact.”
