George stars as Los Angeles Clippers claim seventh consecutive win

Pistons make it consecutive wins, Pelicans end losing streak

Paul George led the scoring for the Los Angeles Clippers in their 129-102 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Staples Center in their NBA clash on Saturday.

George contributed 23 points, nine rebounds and four assists for the Los Angeles Clippers in the win, with Reggie Jackson contributing 21 points and Terrence Mann recording 16 points for the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Los Angeles Clippers have now won seven straight games this season to improve their record to 8-4 after 12 games this season.

Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics 91-89. Darius Garland led the scoring for the Cavaliers with 22 points, four rebounds and six assists. Rookie Evan Mobley also contributed 19 points and nine rebounds for the Cavaliers in the win.

Detroit Pistons recorded consecutive wins for the first time this season after they defeated the Toronto Raptors 127-121. Jerami Grant led the scoring for the Pistons with 24 points and Isaiah Stewart contributed 20 points.

Indiana Pacers defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 118-113. Justin Holiday contributed 27 points off the bench for the Pacers, and Malcolm Brogdon recorded a triple-double of 13 points, ten rebounds and ten assists.

Washington Wizards picked up a 104-92 win over the Orlando Magic away from home in the NBA. Spencer Dinwiddie led the scoring for the Wizards with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds. Montrezl Harrell contributed 20 points in the win.

New Orleans Pelicans finally ended a horrendous run of nine defeats in a row with a 112-101 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the scoring for the Pelicans with 21 points. Brandon Ingram also contributed 19 points for the Pelicans in what was their first home win of the season.
