Ghana To Host 2023 Africa Games
The next edition of the African Games (previously christened All-Africa Games) in 2023 will be hosted by Ghana.
This came to fold after the conclusion of the 2019 edition in Rabat, Morocco where Team Nigeria finished 2nd place.
The West African country will thus have over four years to prepare and welcome the rest of the continent to the 13thedition of the Games with Accra as the main venue, supported by two stadiums in Kumasi and Cape Coast.
Ghana has however said they’re committed to providing facilities for to host a successful tournament, as the continental sports event will be staged in Accra, Kumasi and Cape Coast Stadia.
The Games will also serve as qualifiers for the various disciplines for the Olympics Games in Paris, 2024″.
Ghana beat Egypt to the hosting rights.
