Giannis Antetokounmpo Leads Bucks to 4th Straight Win Against Depleted 76ers
Giannis Antetokounmpo was the star for the Milwaukee Bucks as they defeated the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers 123-109 at Fiserv Forum, securing their fourth straight victory.
The win improves the Bucks’ record to 24-17, as they have won seven of their last eight games, including a perfect 4-0 homestand. Meanwhile, the 76ers, struggling with only nine players available, dropped to 15-26. They had a tough time against the Bucks, who capitalised on the 76ers’ lack of depth.
Giannis set the tone early in the game, finishing with an impressive 34 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists on 13 of 17 shooting. His dominance continued in the fourth quarter, where he scored 16 points, helping the Bucks pull away after a close game.
Giannis also made history, becoming the 38th player in NBA history to reach 22,000 career points. His strong performance, along with contributions from other players like Taurean Prince (11 points) and Brook Lopez (12 points), helped secure the win for the Bucks.
For the 76ers, Tyrese Maxey was the standout player, scoring a team-high 37 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bucks’ firepower.
