Gift Monday joins Tenerife from Robo Queens

Gift Monday has joined UD Granadilla Tenerife from Robo Queen FC after the deal was confirmed today by the Spanish top-flight club.

The Super Falcons striker became the latest Super Falcons player to move to Spain after the likes of Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Rita Chikwelu, and a few others.

Gift Monday who was a member of the Super Falcons team to the just concluded Women African Cup of Nations held in Morocco became the latest Nigerian to play for Tenerife after Finnish-born Nigerian Roosa Funmilayo Ariyo.

The 21-year-old Nigeria put pen to paper to sign a three-year contract until June 2025 and is expected to join her new teammates, after her national duties with Nigeria against the United States this week.

Gift Monday had a spell with Bayelsa Queens last season where she led the team to the league title.
