Gift Orban Opens Up On Premier League Dream
Gent striker Gift Orban has opened up on his desire to play in the English Premier League.
Orban, who scored four goals for Gent in the 6-2 win over Zulte Waragem to become the first player to achieve the feat for the club in this century.
He has now scored eight goals in nine appearances for Gent this season.
He joined the club from Norwegian club Stabaek for €3.5million.
The 20-year-old has opined that he needs to keep working hard to achieve his dream of playing in England.
“My level has to be even higher if I ever want to play in the Premier League. There is still a lot of work to be done” the player told Gent’s official website.
Gent head coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck also reserved special praise for the in-form striker.
“Last season he made 22 appearances across all competitions in Norway,” Vanhaezebrouck said per Voetbal Nieuws.
“If you let him start the season, he is a guarantee of 20, 25 goals across all competitions.
“Finishing is fun for him. Right, left, he doesn’t care.”
Orban will be back in action for Gent when they face Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday.
