Godswill Akpabio International Stadium to host AKSFA powered seminar for Football Administrators in Akwa Ibom State
The Akwa Ibom State Football Association (AKSFA) is set to hold a seminar for football administrators across the state.
Tagged “Football Governance and Leadership Seminar”, the event will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
This seminar, organized by the Akwa Ibom State Football Association led by Mr. Samuel Umoh, is aimed at equipping board members, Local Football Council Chairmen, and other stakeholders with essential knowledge on the best practices in football governance and leadership.
The seminar follows the successful hosting of the state’s first-ever Academies Championship. Tagged the Obong Isong Isang Memorial Academies Championship, Heaven’s Race Football Academy emerged as Champions after a week of keen footballing action.
The upcoming seminar will be officially opened by the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, and will feature the Secretary-General of the NFF, Alhaji Mohammed Sanusi, as the key speaker. Other notable speakers will be announced in the coming days.
