‘ He is a complete winger ‘ – Samuel Chukwueze hailed by AC Milan Coach

Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze has been hailed as a ‘ complete winger ‘ by AC Milan Coach Stephan Pioli following his transfer to the Serie A club.

Pioli was a keen admirer of the wingers qualities and will now work with him at AC Milan in the coming season.

Speaking at the post match interview after his teams friendly loss to Juventus, Pioli hailed his new player as a complete winger who possesses the qualities he needed in his squad.

As quoted by calciomercato.com the AC Milan Coach listed amongst other things the ability Samuel Chukwueze has to attack deep in one-on-one situations as reason he seems like a complete winger to him.

” We had spoken to each other a couple of times, we were looking for a player with these characteristics. He’s fast, technical, strong in one-on-one situations and attacks deep. He seems like a complete winger to me, ” Pioli said.

Samuel Chukwueze has not joined the rest of the squad in pre-season so AC Milan Coach Stephan Pioli is yet to have a direct assessment of his seventh signing of the summer but is banking on the performances from his former club Villareal which wowed his interest and subsequent transfer.

Samuel Chukwueze will wear jersey number 21 for the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League Semi-finalists.
