Heartbroken Olisa Ndah Sends “Appreciation Message ” to Nigerian Fans for Support.
Orlando Pirates Defender Olisa Ndah was given a rousing reception by fans at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium Uyo as he represented the Bucs in a heartbreaking CAF Confederation Cup Final loss to RS Berkane.
The Nigerian Defender won 90% of the supporters for Pirates on Friday night. Just like Olisa Ndah and the Orlando Pirates contingent , this fans went home heartbroken after a 5-4 Penalty shootout loss to RS Berkane.
In a message of appreciation to the fans Olisa Ndah said ” I want to say a very big thank you to them (Fans). They showed me so much love while I was here . It was a big return to me and I’m so happy to be back.
” The turnout was massive for me and the team “. On the result the Defender who had a great game expressed disappointment over their inability to convert the chances created.
” I am disappointed with the result, I think the game could have gone better for us. We could have saved the game in 90 minutes but it’s football.”
Orlando Pirates will return to action in the DStv Premier League with a target of getting a continental spot for next season with three games to the end of a hugely underwhelming season for the Bucs.
